GIVING

Honour the Lord with your wealth,
    with the firstfruits of all your crops;
 then your barns will be filled to overflowing,
    and your vats will brim over with new wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10)

Members of BCC are encouraged to give to the work of the church. The biblical principle of tithing (giving 10% of our income) is particularly encouraged. This enables the leadership and trustees of the church to respond to needs as well as keep everyday operations going.

Where does the money go?

The first 10% of what we receive is set aside for giving to missions and causes that we as a church wish to bless. Apart from our own outreach, this includes the following:

Ice Torbay       Linx Christian YouthTrust

  Children’s Homes and School in Kenya    Compassion UK

  Good News Church, Palakonda, India    World of Worth

  Caroline Hickey, AOG Missionary, Vienna, Austria

Beyond that, all our income is prayerfully managed by our trustees who set a budget to ensure BCC continues to steward all our resources in a way that honours God.

We are a generous church, but only because of the generous giving we receive from friends and members.
